Update information for previous MCT users
Our apology to previous MCT users that were used 5X and 20X objective lens of the Whitebeam detector. We did not take into account the tube lens magnification of 0.9X for 5X and 20X objective lenses of Whitebeam detector. Here is the correct information:
Obj. lens magnification | Tube lens magnification | Total magnification [MAGNIFICATION] | FOV (mm2) [FOV] | Effective pixel size (µm) [PIXEL_SIZE] |
---|---|---|---|---|
5X | 0.9X | 4.5X | 3.7 x 3.1 | 1.444 x 1.444 |
20X | 0.9X | 18X | 0.92 x 0.78 | 0.361 x 0.361 |
Note: [MAGNIFICATION], [FOV] and [PIXEL_SIZE] are referring to the HDF5 node labels.
The incorporated meta data that were collected then need to be corrected, because the effective pixel size was not correct. The correct information of the meta data is important if you want to do quantitative analysis or stitching data correctly or applying TIE-Hom phase retrieval correctly. Here is the procedure to change the information in the meta data.
