A brief description of this site.

The User Wiki has been split into 2 sections:

OPEN ACCESS

Australian Synchrotron (AS) User Office - (where you are now) This area is aimed at prospective Users of the Synchrotron.

This section is not password protected. Information here is openly accessible to anyone who is interested (no Portal account or password required).

In this section you will find a series of daughter pages (see left side menu).

User Beamtime Information

The AS User Office have placed a number of Clayton-specific FAQs in this space.

Our Beamlines

Specific pages per Beamline, designed to give you useful information about the beamlines, putting a proposal together, beamline contacts etc. You will also find useful Laboratory Information here.

LOGIN REQUIRED

Beamlines section - This area is aimed at Users with scheduled beamtime.

This section is password protected. Information is accessible to those with scheduled beamtime and access requires a password (sent by the AS User Office).

Here you will find spaces per Beamline, providing information about Experiment Authorisations, instructions for running various experiments etc. Please navigate to each Beamline Group to see key information for your upcoming beamtime.

  1. Click on the top-right Login button:

  2. Login using the username and password sent to you by the AS User Office.

  3. Now go to 'Spaces' in the top menu:

  4. Go to ‘View All Spaces’ at the bottom of the drop-down menu.

  5. Click on the Beamline space of interest.
