Modifications or status changes to the IMBL beamline will be posted here.

Any new capabilities of the beamline

o   Example: new hardware (e.g. detectors, monochromators)

o   Example: better performance (e.g. noise problem fixed, better resolution being achieved)

o   Example: new sample environments available (e.g. liquid cells, heating/cooling/vacuum options, stage can take bigger/smaller sample mounts)

Capabilities currently not available

o   Anything broken on the beamline Users should know about? ALSO: - should they still apply for this technique or contact a beamline scientist to talk through their options?

Developments in progress

o   New accessories or upgrades that are being developed you’re keen to promote to start Users thinking about experiments (e.g. new detectors and what new elements/capabilities they will allow Users to measure; inverted-ATR on IRM). ALSO: - potential date/round it will be available
