Driving in and Parking
Scan your access card at the boom gate to allow the boom gate to open.
If you do not have an access card yet, press the button for the boom gate and tell security you need to get an access badge from the NCSS building for your beamtime at MEX (have your proposal number and beamline scientist name handy in case security asks).
Park in the car park to your right, or at the User Accommodation if you’re staying there.
Once you have your access badge, scan it at the synchrotron building entry to enter the building. You cannot access this building without your access badge.
Walk around the synchrotron in an anti-clockwise direction to get to MEX. There is no access in the clockwise direction. There is also a door opposite the User Accommodation that gives you access to the synchrotron building.
