All experiments require an EA to be completed for the experiment to proceed. It is needed for the beamline and safety teams to assess the safety requirements of your experiment.

An Experiment Authorisation (EA) will need to be completed and approved before you return your sample box kit. There may be delays in measuring your samples if the box is returned before your EA is approved. The Australian Synchrotron cannot accept samples that are not associated with an approved EA.

Your experiment may be cancelled if you do not submit and have approval for your EA within the required deadlines. Here is some guidance on EA submission.
