Preparing for beamtime
“If you fail to plan, you plan to fail,
Strategy sets the scene for the tale” - T.S.
Prioritise your samples because you never know what could happen during a beamtime. Think about what is the minimum data you need to publish your paper. Then complete the ‘nice to have’s' with the remaining beam time.
Ensure you research sample preparation for XAS and take care in this process. Improving sample preparation is the number one way to improve data quality and reduce the amount of time you need to scan each sample.
