How to Submit a CAP Proposal
Summary of CAP Roles |
|
CAP Program Leader | Essentially the ‘Director’ of the CAP and is responsible for submitting the proposal and integrating all of the projects in the CAP into a cohesive and functional program. |
CAP Principal Investigator | CAP PIs are the individual project or group leaders within the CAP who submit a CAP project proposal. A CAP forms when PIs group together. A CAP can include any group of PIs and their associated staff, post-docs, and students, regardless of institution or project involvement. (Note that researchers from countries with special beamtime arrangements (Singapore and NZ) must form CAPs exclusively with other researchers from those countries). |
CAP Coordinator | Each CAP will appoint a coordinator to serve as the single contact point between the CAP and the AS User Office for user administration. The coordinator manages beamtime visits, including personnel, samples, and submission of pre-beamtime paperwork to the User Office. |
