Small Equipment Lab
Small labs catering exclusively to equipment requiring additional training.
Use of this lab and equipment must be discussed in advance of EA submission with beamline scientists and lab staff.
Requires booking in advance (>4 weeks).
Note: Some of this equipment poses significant hazards - use only equipment approved on your EA and once trained/approved by staff, do not touch other equipment in the lab.

Valid online lab induction PLUS
Valid onsite chemistry lab induction PLUS
Valid onsite small equipment lab induction PLUS

Samples/packaging/chemicals brought onsite must be removed from this lab and returned to your home institute.
Minor waste (e.g. paper towel) can be disposed of in the clinical waste bag in room and sharp items must go in a sharps container.
